Terms of Service

In short: Jirvo is a household expense tracking and reminders service. It does not hold or move money. Use it lawfully, don’t add people to a household without their knowledge, and “unlimited” means fair use.

1. The service

Jirvo is a household expense tracking and reminders service, operated by the registered entity named on the Privacy Policy page. It records expenses you report, presents them to the members of your household, and sends digests and reminders. It is not a bank, a payment service or a financial adviser. It does not hold, move or have access to your funds.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a contract under Indian law.

3. Households and members

A household is a group of members who share a ledger. Whoever creates it is responsible for who is invited. You may not add a person to a household without their knowledge and agreement. Each member controls the visibility of their own entries.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to monitor another person without their knowledge.
Do not attempt to access another household’s data.
Do not use the service for anything unlawful.
Do not resell, scrape or automate access outside normal personal use.

5. Plans, caps and fair use

Plan limits are published on the Pricing page. Capture is available on every plan, including free, and is never capped. Where a plan says “unlimited”, it means unlimited for ordinary household use; we may contact you if usage is automated or far outside normal patterns, and we will always talk to you before acting.

6. Payment

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Annual plans are a single payment. Monthly plans use UPI Autopay, which you can cancel from your UPI application. Cancellation and refunds are covered by the Refunds & Cancellation policy.

7. Accuracy

The service parses messages automatically and can get things wrong. You are responsible for checking your own ledger. We are not liable for financial decisions made on the basis of a mis-parsed entry.

8. Liability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability; it depends on third parties, including WhatsApp, whose availability we do not control. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time; we may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why. Contact: hello@jirvo.ai.
